Top Of The Hill Team Wants You!

Here is an important message from the Top of the Hill Team (Staples boys soccer’s fantastic booster club):

Each summer, several former Staples soccer players and parents attached to the program meet for the Top of the Hill Team annual meeting. Very quickly, we are reminded of what the Staples boys soccer program has meant – and still means – to each of us. We reminisce about games played many years ago, quiz each other about past and current players, catch up on who is where doing what, and look forward to what this year’s team will accomplish.

When the season starts and we stand on The Hill, we meet parents new to the program, run into teachers who have retired but stay connected to Staples Soccer, and invariably see someone we played with many years ago or coached after our playing days were over. This is Staples Soccer.

It is a program that goes way beyond the game being played on the field. It is a common bond that links current and past players; a source of pride for the school for nearly 60 years; a program that creates friendships that last for decades, and helps prepare boys to be successful for years to come on and off the pitch.

That is why we established TOTH in 2007 and continue to build upon it today. We saw a need to support the program and augment the budget so that Staples Boys Soccer continues to be the premier high school program in the state. In the coming weeks you will be asked to contribute to TOTH. We hope that you, like us, will feel honored to play a part in continuing the legacy of excellence and pride that is Staples soccer.

Of course, if you are itching to make a donation right now, please go to: http://staplessoccer.com/team/the-top-of-the-hill-team/ and scroll to “How to Donate.” Please note that all donations are tax deductible, and as such corporate matching is encouraged if available.

Thank you from all of us at TOTH, for your valuable contribution to Staples Boys Soccer: past, present and future.
