Wreckers Whip Shelton; Season Starts Wednesday
Another strong performance on Saturday ended Staples’ pre-season schedule.
The Wreckers handled Shelton with relative ease, on a sunny morning at Wakeman Field. It was their 3rd win, in as many outings.
Now the fun begins. The reigning state and FCIAC champions head to Ridgefield on Wednesday, for the first of 16 regular season matches. Kickoff is at 4 p.m.
The home opener follows on Monday, September 14: 4 p.m. at Wakeman, against New Canaan.
