Dates Set For Summer Conditioning, Watermelon Cup, Pre-season Training, Tryouts
Sure, it’s mid-winter. Snow covers every field.
But it’s time to begin planning for the 2026 season. And that means summer training.
Head coach Liam Witham has just released details. Here’s what’s ahead:
Summer Conditioning @ Wakeman Turf Field
Tuesdays, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Thursdays, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
12 sessions: July 7 through August 13
Watermelon Cup @ Wakeman Turf
Wednesdays, 6 to 9 p.m.
July 8 through August 12
Pre-season @ Wakeman Turf
Grades 10-12: Monday, August 17 through Thursday, August 20, 9 to 11 a.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.; Friday, August 21, 5 to 8 p.m.
Grade 9: Monday, August 17 through Thursday, August 20: 9 a.m. to 12 noon; Friday, August 21, 5 to 8 p.m.
Tryouts @ Wakeman Turf (NOTE: Coaches may not use all tryout dates; training will begin immediately after tryouts are concluded)
Sunday August 23: Wakeman or PJ Romano (TBD): 9:30 to 11 a.m.: Fitness testing
Monday, August 24: Wakeman Turf: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; 5 to 7 p.m.
Tuesday August 25: Wakeman Turf: 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday August 26: Wakeman Turf Field: 6 to 8:45 p.m.
