Westport Elite Team Tryout Inifo

The Westport Elite U-19 team is gearing up for spring.

Kevin Fitzsimmons — the popular Elite coach, and well-respected head of Weston High School’s very strong program — returns for his 4th year. He’ll be joined by Chris Myers, the 1983 Staples High School state champion who also serves as his WHS assistant.

The Elite team is open to high school boys in birth years 2002-06. They do not have to attend Staples. Free tryouts will be held in February.

The squad will train twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Wakeman turf), and will play weekend matches. They’ll enter showcase tournaments as well.

Practice teams are designed to accommodate spring sport athletes.
