Top Of Hill Team Donates Defibrillator To Staples Soccer

The Top of the Hill Team — Staples boys soccer’s booster club — has purchased a defibrillator for the program.

The automated external defibrillator (AED) is a simple, easy-to-use unit that analyzes heart rhythms, and advises the user whether a shock is required.

“This is an important addition to our program,” said head coach Dan Woog.  “We hope we never need to use it — but it is great knowing it is instantly available if we do.

“The Top of the Hill Team has helped us out in many ways,”  Woog continued.  “This is one of the best.”
