Mike Carey ’01 Announces The Birth…

of Louis Gaumun Carey. He was born on Wednesday, January 6.

Proud parents Mike and Lapde plan to call him Louie. His middle name was taken from his grandmother’s Chinese name, meaning “music, art, and literature.”

Mike — who works with Kyle Martino ’99 at NBC Sports — reports: “Labor was long and challenging for mom. But we are so happy our son is finally here. Happy new year to all!”
