Graduating Seniors Announce College Plans

When they graduate next month, Staples soccer’s 11 seniors will head in a variety of directions — all across the country, in fact.

Three will play college soccer (and one will join 2 former Wreckers as teammates).

We will miss them all!

We’ll follow the soccer careers of Ry Cohen (Hobart College), Austin Sholes (Washington and Lee University) and Matthew Tanzer (Emory University) with great interest. At Emory, Tanzer joins forces with rising junior Josh Berman, and rising sophomore Matthew Engler.

We wish the best of luck to them, and their 8 teammates from Staples High School’s Class of 2019:

Nick Ambrose (University of Notre Dame)
Gabe Baltierra
(Ithaca College)
Wilson Daniels
 (College of Charleston)
Nick DiMasi (University of Arizona)
Rob Diorio (Washington University in St. Louis)
Mauricio Inglada (Drexel University)
Lefty Pendarakis (University of Wisconsin)
Vaughan Sealey (University of Connecticut-Stamford)
