Soccer Car Wash A Great Success
Who can resist Staples soccer players asking/urging/”strongly suggesting” that drivers get their cars washed?
Very few people. From morning through late afternoon, 60 varsity, reserve and freshman players — and many parents — washed a couple of hundred cars. (And sold plenty of baked goods).
They raised over $2,300 for the program — easily topping last year’s mark. Just as importantly, they worked together, as one team.
Now Westport’s Audis, BMWs and Range Rovers look much, much cleaner.
