Max Hoberman, Walker Marsh Win New England Indoor Track Championship
Max Hoberman and Walker Marsh comprised half of the 4×400 relay team that blazed to both a New England title and Staples record Friday. The winning time of 3:23.62 — nearly 3 seconds faster than 2nd-place Danbury — came at the 25th New England Indoor Track and Field Championship, in Boston.
Max Hoberman was part of another school record-setting event too: the 4×200. He and fellow soccer player David Hoffman were half of the quartet that finished in 1:32.83, good for 6th place overall.
Kyle Hoberman teamed with Walker Marsh in the 4×800 relay. Their 8:21.56 time placed them 12th.
Congratulations to the entire indoor track team, and coach Laddie Lawrence and his staff on those outstanding performances.
