Car Wash Earns Over $2,300

The Staples boys soccer team’s annual car wash netted $2,312.59 today.

For 6 hours, over 60 players from the varsity, junior varsity and freshman teams cleaned dozens of cars, vans and SUV at the Saugatuck Congregational Church.  The money offsets much of the season-ending banquet costs, and pays for a variety of other program needs.

Car wash coordinator Wes Malowitz P’12 thanked all the players and many parent volunteers, along with Dan Boyce P’14 (donation of washing products), Dave Doyle and Bill Meyer for coordinating use of the church, and State Cleaners for drying all the towels.
