DIRECTIONS TO FIELDS (from Westport)

Westport

Staples High School: 70 North Ave.; 203-341-1200
I-95 North: Take Exit 18. Go left toward Post Rd. (US1). At Post Rd. (US1), go right. Take your first, second or third left; all will take you up a short hill to Long Lots Rd. Go right on Long Lots. At the first stop sign, go left onto North Ave. The school is 1/2 mile on the right; Albie Loeffler Field is in back.

I-95 South: Take Exit 19. Follow the ramp straight to the light; then go right onto Post Rd. (US1). Follow approximately 1 mile. You will pass Blockbuster Video on your right; at the next light, take a right onto North Turkey Hill Rd. At the end of Turkey Hill, go left on Long Lots Rd.; then take a quick right onto North Ave. The school is 1/2 mile on the right; Albie Loeffler Field is in back.
Merritt Parkway: Take Exit 42. At the end of the ramp; head toward Westport. The road will quickly fork; stay straight. Continue on Weston Rd. through the flashing light. You will soon come to a 3-way intersection; go left on Cross Highway. Continue 1/2 mile; at the 4-way stop, go right onto North Ave. The school is 1/2 mile on the left; Albie Loeffler Field is in back.

Bridgeport

Bassick High School: Fairfield Ave.; 203-576-7350

I-95 North: Take Exit 26 (Wordin Ave.). At the end of the exit, go left onto Wordin Ave. *Go ounder the railroad viaduct; then take an immediate left onto Railroad Ave. Go north on Clinton Ave. to the light. Continue straight at the light; the school is on the right.
I-95 South: Take Exit 26 (Wordin Ave.). At the end of the exit turn right onto Wordin Ave. Then follow directions from the * above.

Merritt Parkway North or South: Take Exit 47 (Park Ave.). At the end of both exits take a left toward Bridgeport. Continue on Park Ave.; go right on Fairfield Ave.; go left on Clinton Ave. The school is immediately on your right.

Central High School (Kennedy Stadium): Lincoln Blvd.; 203-576-7377
I-95 North and South: Take Exit 27-A (Route 8-25 Connector). Then take Exit 4 (Lindley Blvd.). At the bottom of the exit go left. At the next light, turn left onto Capital Ave. Continue for 3 lights; turn left onto Lincoln Blvd. Kennedy Stadium is behind the school.

Harding High School: Central Ave.; 203-576-7330
I-95 North and South: Take Exit 27-A (Route 8-25 Connector). Then take Exit 5 (Boston Ave./Route 1). Coming off the ramp, bear left. At the end of the exit, go left at the light onto Boston Ave. * Continue on Boston Ave.; then take a right onto Central Ave. The school is on your immediate left.
Merritt Parkway North and South: Take Exit 49-S (Route 8-25 Connector). Then take Exit 5 (Boston Ave.). AS you come off the exit, bear right when it merges onto Boston Ave. Then follow the directions from the * above.

Seaside Park
I-95 North and South: Take Exit 27. Follow signs to the University of Bridgeport. This is Lafayette Street. Go right on Waldemere Ave. The fields are on your left.

Danbury

Danbury High School: Clapboard Ridge Rd.; 203-797-4800
Take Route 7 to I-84. Go east on I-84 (toward Hartford) to Exit 5. Follow the ramp and the road down the hill to the first light (Main St.). Take a left on Main St.; pass underneath I-84 to Clapboard Ridge; when the road forks, follow to the right. Proceed up Clapboard Ridge approximately one might; school is on the right, with the fields behind.

Darien

Darien High School: High School La.; 203-655-3981
I-95: Take Exit 10. Follow the ramp to the stop sign; turn right onto Noroton Ave. Continue straight through 2 lights; you will run into the high school.

Fairfield

Fairfield High School: Melville Ave.; 203-255-8449
I-95: Take Exit 24 (Black Rock Tpke.). Pass underneath the turnpike; follow the center lane. Turn right onto Black Rock Tpke. At the second light, go right on Knapps Hwy. The school is approximately 1 mile on the left.

Greenwich

Greenwich High School: Hillside Rd.; 203-625-8000
I-95: Take Exit 4. Go north to Post Road. Turn left on Post Road; go 2 short blocks, and take a right onto Hillside Rd. The school is on the left.

Merritt Parkway: Take Exit 31. Go south on North St., to Fairfield Rd., to Hillside.

New Canaan

New Canaan High School (Denning Field): Farm Rd.; 203-972-4444
Merritt Parkway: Take Exit 37. Go north on South Rd. approximately 1 mile. Turn left at the light onto Farm Rd. The school is on the left.

Connor Field:
Merritt Parkway: Take Exit 37. Go north on South Rd. approximately 1 mile. Turn right at the light onto Farm Rd. The field is on the right, behind Saxe Middle School.

Norwalk

Brien McMahon High School: Highland Ave.; 203-852-9488
I-95: Take Exit 14. Turn left off the ramp onto Post Rd. (US 1). Turn left at the first stop light onto Scribner Ave. Cross over I-95, and follow to the stop sign at the end of the street. Turn right onto Flax Hill. Take the second left onto Highland Ave. The school is on the left.

Norwalk High School: Strawberry Hill Ave. and County St.; 203-838-4481
Take Post Rd. toward Norwalk; go left on Strawberry Hill. At the first light, go left; the school is on the right.

Ridgefield

Ridgefield High School: North Salem Rd.; 203-438-3785
Take Route 7; just past Bob Sharp Motors, turn left onto Rte. 102. Follow all the way to Main St. in Ridgefield, at the top of the long hill. Turn right onto Main St. through town; then take a left onto Rte. 116 (North Salem Rd.) The school is 4 1/2 miles on the right; the fields are in back, below the school.

Stamford

Stamford High School: Strawberry Hill Ave.; 203-977-4223
I-95: Take Exit 8. Turn right at the end of the ramp onto Elm St. Continue straight onto Grove St. At the fork in the road, it becomes Strawberry Hill Ave. The school is on the right, just after the fork; the fields are in back.

Trinity Catholic High School: Newfield Ave.; 203-322-3401
I-95: Take Exit 8. Turn right at the end of the ramp onto Elm St. Continue straight onto Grove St. At the fork in the road, it becomes Strawberry Hill Ave. Continue on Strawberry Hill approximately 2 miles; it then becomes Newfield Ave. The school is another 1/2 mile, on the left.

Merritt Parkway: Take Exit 35. Go south on High Ridge Rd. approximately 1/2 mile. Turn left on Vine St., then right on Newfield Ave. The school is on the right.

Westhill High School: Roxbury Rd.; 203-977-4477
Merritt Parkway: Take Exit 34. Go south on Long Ridge Rd. Take a sharp right onto Roxbury Rd.; the school is there.

Stratford

St. Joseph High School: Huntington Tpke.; 203-378-9378
Merritt Parkway: Take Exit 51. Turn left onto Rte. 108; follow north for approximately 2 miles. The school is on the left.

Trumbull

Trumbull High School: Strobel Rd.; 203-452-5150
Merritt Parkway: Take Exit 49 North (toward Danbury/Rte. 25). Follow Rte. 25 to Exit 9 (Daniels Farm Rd.). *Turn right off the ramp onto Daniels Farm Rd. Go to the top of the hill, passing Hillcrest Middle School on the right. Take a right on Strobel Rd.; the school is on the right.
I-95: Take Exit 27A onto Route 25/Route 8. At the fork, stay left on Rte. 25 toward Danbury. Take Exit 9 (Daniels Farm Rd.). Then follow the directions from the * above.

Wilton

Wilton High School: Danbury Rd.; 203-762-0381
Take the Merritt Parkway (Exit 40) or Wilton Rd. to Rte. 7 north. The school is approximately 1 mile past Wilton Center on the left; note that it is the last school in the complex, opposite the YMCA (which is on the right).
