Training on the Tidal Flats -- Labor Day 2007

On Labor Day 2007 the Wreckers began a new tradition: training at low tide on the Old Mill Beach tidal flats. A morning of playing on the hard sand was capped by the unexpected offer of hot dogs, chips and watermelon at the Compo Cove home of Pete Romano (who last year donated his civil engineering services to our Terrace the Hill project) and Robin Tauck. THANKS to both for an excellent adventure!

From top: warmups and stretching; Frankie Bergonzi and Brendan Lesch play, while Mike White and Alex McDowell look on in awe; the '07 team's first official photo; hungry Wreckers chow down at Robin and Pete's house. (Photos by Robin Tauck)
